Tuesday Morning Sketches #94

Happy Tuesday! I've got a Tuesday Morning Sketches card here today. This week there isn't a sketch, rather a technique challenge. The featured technique is crayon resist. There are many tutorials out there, I used this one from Gina K. on Stamp TV. It was very easy to follow.

The cloud panel on this card is where I used the crayon resist technique. The clouds are a stamp from Verve, stamped on glossy card stock, colored in with white crayon, then sponged with blue ink. The blue ink wipes right off of where you use the crayon.

Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you will check out the other Designers samples on the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog.and play along with us. The sponsor is One Stop Card Crafts and a great prize is up for grabs!

Card Recipe:
Stamps: Verve Up Up and Away
Ink: Memento, Stazon, Ballet Blue, Bashful Blue
Paper: PTI ssw, SU Ballet Blue, Summer Sun, Bashful Blue, Glossy white, October Afternoon yellow print
Embellishments: copics, nesties, SU brads. offray ribbon, cuttlebug embossing folder, dimensionals, white crayola crayon, sponges

What a lovely, bright and cheery card! And I love the layout, too. Not tried this technique yet, but might have to give it a go, lol.
