Sassy Studio Designs Release Day Blog Hop

Hi, welcome to the Sassy Studio Designs release blog hop. If you've arrived from the sweet and talented  Kate's blog you are in the right spot. If not start at the beginning on the SSD blog to get all of the info. Lindsay has released 4 new images today. They are all based on fan suggestions and named for the fan who suggested the idea.

I've used Wednesday Sara Addams for my card. I've got her peeking out of her cobwebby window here.

Now for some fun, Rebecca, our release party coordinator has asked us to post what our favorite tool is and what tool we've wasted money on that wasn't such a great buy. I guess my favorite would be my Big Shot, I don't ever make a project without it. It's invaluable for diecutting and embossing. LOVE it! Doesn't hurt that is is black and pink with a bit of bling on it either. As for what tool I've had and not been thrilled with, I have to go with paper cutters. I've had 4 that just haven't done the trick. I hate to not get a very straight  and clean edge on my cuts and it seems hard to find a really good trimmer. I'm finally happy with a Dahle one that I bought about 2 years ago, and have thrown out all the less than stellar ones.

Now hop on along to see what fantastic project Kim has created for you today. Leave some love along the way, for a random drawing for some SSD prizes.

Don't forget to drop by the party blog tonight to chat with the DT and customers. Should be a fun time. Follow the link on the SSD blog. Party starts at 10pm EST.

Thanks so much for hopping with us, hope you love the new release!

Designed2Delight New Release Blog Hop

This is my second post of today, scroll down one to see my Phindy's Friday challenge card.

Welcome to the Designed2Delight monthly release blog hop. Faith has created a bunch of wonderful new springy  images!  We are hopping to show all the new images today. You can find all the new releases in the store right here.

For my first card I went with the Meg with Daisies image. This one is so springy and was fun to color! I went with a bright color palette for this card and used up some scraps of BG and October Afternoon pattened papers. She's colored with copics and has some stickles for sparkle.

For the sketch for this one I used the Cardabilities sketch #53. I flipped it on end to accomodate the image I was using.

For my second card I used the Garden Fence image and a sentiment from SU. Love this image, so quaint and summery. Wish I had a green thumb to grow flowers like this! This Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety paper pack was just perfect with the image. It is colored with copics also and again stickled for a bit of sparkle.

I've used Sketch Saturday #203 for the layout of this one.
