This stamp is actually a new one from my friend Angela. It came in a card kit with these fun papers, thanks Angela!
I always think Stella calls for a significant amount of glitter. So I've stickled the waves, shoes, wand and crown on her.

King of the Wild Things
Can't believe it is Sunday already! We had a great weekend. My dad visited to celebrate his birthday. Had lots of good food (probably too much). He's on his way home now, so I made a cute little Halloween card.Tuesday, May 18, 2010
Stella Takes a Bubble Bath
It's been a week since I've posted, just couldn't seem to get anything done last week. Every time I got into my office I started cleaning and organizing. Finally when I saw this challenge today, Tuesday Morning Sketches #46, to use your favorite color combination and glitter, I got inspired. Friday, March 19, 2010
Addy 'Tude is Sparkling Today
I have had this stamp for a while now, and sadly had never inked it up. She is called Addy 'Tude LOVES to Sparkle from Stamping Bella. Isn't she fabulous? I don't know why I haven't used her! Her name made me feel the need to really sparkle and bling her up. Her outfit and accessories are sparkled with spica pens, then I sprayed the whole white piece and the sentiment liberally with Smooch Spritz, I just love that stuff. The striped paper is super sparkly, too, it is the Home collection from MME. Sunday, February 28, 2010
And it's over
Seems like the Olympics just started and they are over for another 4 years already! Well, it was fun, wasn't it? I unfortunately couldn't stay up till midnight most nights, so only saw bits and pieces of the events. Here is my card celebrating the Olympics, unfortunately this looks like a summer card, oh well!Saturday, February 13, 2010

Yoga for Relaxation!
Well, I can't say I really know about yoga for relaxation, but I've heard it works wonders. Maybe one of these days I'll give it a try. It's one of those things I've always wanted to try. This Bella card was made for the Bella sketch challenge, BSC82 on SCS. I really love doing sketch challenges, it gives you an easy place to start. Especially when time is limited (like during nap time, LOL). I think sketches are the easiest challenges to work with. I have a few more sketch challenge cards to post in the next few days.
Thanks for stopping by today. I appreciate each and every one of you taking a minute to visit my blog and all your nice comments.

Think Pink in October
October is breast cancer awareness month. So I figured it was the perfect time to ink up Causeabella. I love this stamp, she can be used for just about any cause by changing the color of the ribbon. She is just so much fun to color, too.I used two different challenges for this card. The first one was Mercy's Tuesday sketch challenge (MTSC43). Once again, she had another amazing sketch to use! I also just found the JUGS blog. That stands for Just Us Girls. Their challenge this week was to paper piece (JUGS2). I love paper piecing, so I pieced this Bella's dress. They also asked us to use pink this week. I love all these challenge blogs, they really give me great inspiration.
Off to a doctor's appointment this morning. Hopefully things will look good. Only eleven days to go. I probably should be freaking out a bit, but I'm not yet. Thanks for stopping by today!

Sweet Dreamers challenge (bugging out)
I combined two challenges for this sweet little card. Our Sweet Dreamer's blog group was challenged to make a card with a bug on it this week. I hope this little moth qualifies! I don't really have many buggy stamps. I also used Aly's 3rd sketch challenge for the layout. I'm sure you remember me mentioning Aly before, she is the talented ten year old girl who started her own sketch blog. She posts a new sketch every other Sunday and makes her own amazing samples. Check her blog out!The kids are down at a reasonable hour tonight, so I'm making this post quick so I can go stamp a bit more. Thanks for stopping by today!

Congrats on Your Bike-A-Thon!
Happy weekend everyone! Kids are excited, it's a long weekend, no school on Monday for Columbus Day. Tonight we have my husband's high school reunion. I still don't know what I'm going to wear. Nothing like waiting til the last minute, right? This is my take on the Mercy's Tuesday sketch challenge this week (MTSC42). I've been trying to do this challenge each week, since I found out about them about a month ago. They are really fun sketches!
I made this card for my dear friend Megan, who just completed a bike ride to raise money for MS, called Bike to the Bay. She rode 17 miles, holy moly! I'm so proud of her for finishing the bike ride, that's pretty long of a ride, in my opinion. She trained for some time to get ready. Megan, if you are reading this, pretend to be surprised when this arrives in your mailbox, LOL!
I told my husband that I was making a card for her to celebrate this accomplishment. He said, "Do you really have a girl on a bike stamp?" Um, yeah, and I probably have stamps to celebrate almost any occasion anyone could happen upon! A little scary, but it's always better to be prepared!

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Garden Green

Long Lean Witch
I hardly ever make long skinny cards, so this was a real challenge for me. This sketch came from Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge MTSC41. I flipped the sketch vertically, the original was horizontal. I knew I needed a skinny witch so I went with this Bella image, Witchybella. I've been on a Halloween card kick, lately. Now I have to make sure I actually mail out these Halloween cards, LOL!Thanks for stopping by today, hope you are all having a relaxing weekend!

Here is my project for the blog hop. My sweet Bella sistah Lori just sent me this adorable Harriet LuLu stamp as a back to school RAK. How sweet is that. How about a prize? In addition to the fabulous eye candy, we have decided to hide a prize somewhere along the hop! One pre-selected blogger will draw a random winner from the comments on her post, and the winner will receive a $25 Gift Voucher to Stamping Bella!!! Sweet Dreamers Challenge #7 (Send a Hug)
Made this one for the Sweet Dreamers weekly challenge for my SCS blog group, the Sweet Dreamers. Last Monday's challenge was to make a card and send it to someone who could use a hug. Our challenge hostess, Mary, posted a link to a young lady who had recently lost an arm in a boating accident and is still in the hospital. You can read the story here, and send a card if you like. While I personally know many people who could use a hug, this story really touched me, so I'm mailing this card off to Paige.I used Wednesday's sketch challenge, SC245.
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you all have a wonderful week.

A Bella Twisted Challenge
This month's Bella twisted challenge was to use bling. I love all things shiny, sparkly and blingy, so this wasn't much of a challenge for me! This is my first time inking up this stamp. Her name is Queenanne Bittybloom from Stampingbella. I just love how she is laying with her face in her hands, so sweet. All the Bittybloom stamps are adorable! Hope I didn't overdo the bling, I guess I'm not one of those "less is more" people.Saturday, July 11, 2009

Summer is here!
Hope everyone had a happy and safe July 4th. We did the usual grilling, it was delicious! The weather is finally good here. We had sunshine on the weekend and the kids got to play in the sprinkler. This is a favorite summer activity!Wednesday, June 24, 2009
Happy Birthday Emily!

I'm so excited to participate in my first blog hop! Especially in honor of one of the finest stamping ladies around, Emily, the creator/owner of Stampingbella. Emily is kind, generous and funny, such an inspiration to all of us stampers. If you want to find out more about her, check out her blog in the above link, be prepared to laugh, I told you she is funny.
Here is my card for Emily's birthday. I used Leaning Tower of Stella. I love all my Bella stamps, but my Stellas are some of my favorites, they just make me smile. Stella just has such sass about her! I used the Bella sketch challenge, BSC78, for the layout of this card. Fun sketch, I love the circle part!
Emily, hope your birthday is fabulous!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Now it's time to hop on over to Arlene's blog, Scuba, Scraps & Stamps. Have a great day!
