Sentimental Sundays

Here is my weekly post for Sentimental Sundays. This week our challenge theme is thanks or thank you. Don't forget to add your sentiment!

My older two both had birthday parties recently and they need to get their TY cards out. I was going to just buy some (cause you know 7 and 9 year old boys will read them and toss them). But I felt guilty with all the paper I hoard, I mean have. So I came up with a quick and easy layout that could be replicated easily and mass produced. It also used up some scraps which was a bonus! I made 18 of these in under 2 hours, so not bad. And the boys liked them.

And Sweet and Sassy stamps is the sponsor.  Hope you will play along for a chance to win a prize from them.

Make sure and pop over to the Sentimental Sundays blog and check out all the fabulous creations from the DT.

Card Recipe:
Sentiment: PTI
Paper: PTI kraft, PTI ssw, scraps of blue and green prints
Ink: SU Always Artichoke
Extras: corner rounder, Nesties die, PTI button, SU linen thread

Whaaaat?! Store bought from you??? What's next-- no Santa or Tooth fairy? I'm sure they would much rather get an original curry creation. I love the idea of using strips & keeping it simple but that is my kryptonite. Great cards! Hugs~

Hi, Kathy! Love this CAS design & the blues and greens. My little girl had a bday party today, so we are finishing up TY cards tomorrow. What a great sketch to use up some of my paper stash!

Took a look around... you are one busy lady! Glad to be designing with you for SS!

Inky hugs,
Angi
