TGIF! Looking forward to the weekend. After digging out my skiing Riley stamp last week, I remembered that I had some St. Patrick's Day
Rileys, too. Got them out and inked them up, just in time!
I used the sketch from
Tuesday Morning Sketches this week, #35. Thought it was a fantastic sketch and fit Riley perfectly. I used my new Origins paper from Basic Grey, it was a gift from my sweet stamping friend Linda. Aren't the colors great?
This card is going to my chemo angel patient. If you are a card maker or just love to send out cards (handmade or store bought) you should check out the
Chemo Angel program. They will pair you up with someone going through cancer treatment. You commit to sending at least one card per week to them. It is a great cause. It's amazing how much a card can brighten up
someones day. They try to pair you
up with a person with common interests, so it is easy to find topics to talk about in your cards. My first patient, who has now graduated from the program is now a close friend. We had tons of stuff in common, and she is a card maker, too. How cool is that? So if you are interested, check it out.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great weekend!
