Apple a Day set at Designed2Delight is too cute. I paired it with the tree from the Willow Whimsy set (this is the smaller tree). I covered each flower on the tree with a dew drop "apple". I didn't have red dew drops (go figure I only have them in about 50 colors, LOL). So I took a copic and colored some clear ones, it worked beautifully.
No sketch involved here, just a CAS little card. I'm also using this for the HYCCT challenges on SCS. This one is for the Walk on By challenge, to use something you see when you go for a walk as inspiration. A neighbor has a crab apple tree and they are falling off right now, so I thought of that for my inspiration.
I've heard that you can make jelly out of crab apples, I wonder how that would be? Think I'm in an apple-y mood lately, might call for a little bit of baking later in the week.
Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you are having a wonderful week!
