From the Heart Stamps November Blog Hop

Welcome to our From the Heart Stamps blog hop. We have a CAS and Over the Top theme this month. Our designers are showcasing lots of gorgeous projects. They each are using the same image twice. One card will be CAS (clean and simple) and the second will be a fancier version. Should be really fun to see all the creations.

If you have arrived from Karen's blog, you are in the right place.

As you hop along, please leave a comment on each blog. One random commenter will be selected on each blog to win an image of choice from the FTHS store.

For my cards I chose this super cute Super Birdbrain. I love that you can use this little birdy for a male or female card. Here is my CAS version:

Here is my Over the Top version. I'm a pretty plain crafter, I think my fancier version isn't really that fancy. I just added some bling and a fancier die cut with some threaded twine. I guess I lean more toward an uncluttered plain look, lol! Hope my second version doesn't disappoint, I need to branch out into more embellishments, I think!

Now hop on over to Kathy Stacy's blog and see what she has created today!

Thanks for hopping with us today. The hop will end on Monday November 9th at 6 am EST. Winners will be posted on the From the Heart Stamps Blog on Wednesday November 11th.

Thank you for showing this image for both male and female cards, it really does work well for both, and your OTT card IS fancier enough, I especially love the threaded twine, and that patterned paper is perfect too.

Oh - what a remarkable idea to make one masculine and one feminine. The colors on your CAS are just magnificent. I love a green birdbrain. I also love the matting and how that really sets off the image. Looks like you even decorated the inside of your Over The Top card - wow. Such sparkly goodness. You go Kathy!!

That's so awesome that you showed how the digi can be used for a man or a woman! I hadn't thought about it being female before, but you've just given me some great ideas! I know several women who are real "superheroes!" Both your cards are wonderful! Trust me, your OTT card did NOT disappoint!

I think they are both great! I love the paper you used in the male version and like the little added touch of sewing. On the female version I like how you laced the twine into the frame. Both look great.

These are great Kathy! I to struggle with really OTT. But I think the differences on your card are great and perfect. I love that you went CAS with the male version then glitzed up the girl version. They are both adorable! Thanks for the inspiration!

Hi Kathy, both cards are wonderful, I love them both, thanks for showing Birdbrain as a girly card, I have this funny habit of calling birdbrain a he, I may just be making assumptions there... have a brilliant week...Megan
