From the Heart Stamps

How in the world is August coming to an end already?? I'm not ready to leave summer behind. But before August is gone, I have one more From the Heart Stamps card to share. This Birdbrain, called Birdbrain Needs Coffee, might be one of my very favorites (although it is hard to pick one). This definitely is me in the morning before a nice hot cup of coffee.

I've been playing around with some colors on the Birdbrains lately and having fun. Who says they have to be yellow? Make sure and pop over to the FTHS blog next Friday, we are having a monthly blog hop and it is called For the Bird{brains}. Should be a super fun hop, with lots of great prizes.

Little Miss Muffet Inspiration Post

Happy Thursday. We have a little inspiration post to share on the LMM facebook page. Everyone is showcasing the stamps or digis that are available in the store. I am working on a month of animal cards (challenged by Faye!). I'm planning to have fun with this one, there are lots of new animals in the LMM store! Good thing she challenged me, lol!  

My stamp is called Claudia's Kitty. How cute is she?  I've textured her fur a bit with some blender solution on a wash cloth. I really like this technique, makes a worn and fuzzy looking teddy. Stop on over to the facebook page and check out all the inspiration from the DT.

From the Heart Stamps

Now, I am not trying to rush summer out the door! We are planning to soak up the last two weeks of vacation and make the most of them! But, Fall is my favorite season and this is the monthly Progressive Challenge image from From the Heart Stamps, called Pumpkin PigWit, so I couldn't resist making him into a cute little card. He comes with some cute and punny sentiments, too. If you play along each month, you get the next month's image for free. It's never too late to join the fun, you can purchase the current month's image and jump right in.

My sketch comes from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 232. I loved the look and clean lines of this one, will be one I come back to again and again.

I just LOVE this image from From the Heart Stamps, called Fishing Birdbrain. It's one in the line of Birdbrain digis. They are all so fun and funny! I making an effort keep more manly cards on hand and thought this image would be just right for a masculine card!

I just LOVE this image from From the Heart Stamps, called Brotherly Love. It's one in the line of Faithful Friends digis. They all come with coordinating sentiments. My middle two boys are extremely close even though there is a three year age difference. Finn idolizes Liam and Liam always watches out for Finn. I'm not even nervous about sending Finn to Kindergarten in the fall, because I know Liam will look out for him. I love to see them having fun together. This card will be for Liam's birthday from Finn.
