Designed2Delight Monthly Release blog hop

Welcome to the Designed2Delight monthly release blog hop. Faith has created a bunch of wonderful new images, these will really make making masculine cards a breeze!  We are hopping to show all the new images today. If you arrived from the very talented Michelle P.'s  blog  you are in the right place.  If you just happened upon my blog you will want to start at the Designed2Delight blog, so you don't miss anything. You can find all the new releases in the store right here.

For my first card I went with the Lighthouse image. I used copics to color it in and some fantastic October Afternoon papers that had a great beachy feel. My sentiment is from Verve. The sketch is from Splitcoast Stampers (SC385).

For my second card I used the Wild Blueberry Blossoms image. This one is so pretty. Just found out that they should have been whitish in color, oops! They call that creative license, right? I've colored again with copics and added some stickles to the edges of the flowers. The patterns are all from my scrap bin. A few glittery brads and some seam binding to finish it off.

My sketch here is from the May 17th sketch over at the Willow Sketchie challenge blog.

Now for some fun stuff! All new release images will be 20% for 3 days! Don't you love a sale?! And Faith has generously allowed us to give away an image to, so leave a comment with your fave new release image and you will have a random chance to win it. I'll announce the winner
Wednesday morning.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I'm the last stop on the hop. Make sure to comment as you go for chances to win prizes. Have a wonderful rest of the weekend.

I love the blue blossoms!! The colors of that card go so well together! And the lighthouse card is stunning--what a great layout, and your papers are perfect! Both are so well put together. Thanks so much for being a D2D designer!! Hope you are having a great weekend, and able to keep up with your busy sports schedule. :) (Beautiful blog background, too!)

Beautiful card & I love this sketch.

This is a tough choice because both of your cards are great. Love how you colored the flower no matter what color it should have been, beautiful the way you colored it. My favorite would have to be the lighthouse though because I love lighthouses.

The lighthouse card would make such an awesome masculine card! Absolutely love it!

Hee hee... if you haven't mentioned it I wouldn't have realised that those blossoms should be whitish in colour!
