Lilah's Valentine

I loved the Midnight Madness sketch this week (MMSC87), I've been thinking about what I wanted to put into that heart all week.  Then I remembered this image I bought at Phindy's Place, Chocomonster, around Christmas time.  When I purchased it I immediately thought of doing a Valentine card with it, because of the box of chocolates.

I love the way she is licking her pinky finger, reminds me so much of Lilah having her first cupcake ever on her birthday.  Not a crumb was left, lol, unless you count what was stuck in her hair.  The challenge this week at Phindy's Friday challenge blog (#38) is Valentine's cards or cards for a loved one.  So this will be Lilah's Valentine this year. I have a feeling she'll be reaching for the boys' sweet treats this year, too. I know I posted this pic before, but the way the pinky finger is in her mouth just like in the image, cracks me up!

I'm also entering it in the Tuesday Morning sketches challenge this week #77 (heavy metal).  The heart shaped brads are metal.

Thanks for dropping by today.  Hope you are staying warm and dry.  They are calling for more snow overnight and into tomorrow, so we may be snowed in again.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Chocomonster digi from Phindy's Place, senti from PTI
Ink:  Printer, Palette Noir
Paper:  PTI ssw, SU Pretty in Pink, Only Orange, PTI New Leaf, BG Sugar Rush
Embellishments:  copics, stickles, nesties, MM brads, Cuttlebug conversation heart folder and dot folder, MS heart punch, ribbon from Michaels, crystal effects

I came here to see the card but I'm staying for the wine! I love the embossed heart behind your sweet and beautifully colored image. Very cute. I often sell my cards and creations and I'm always torn...put the money in the craft fund or wine fund? It's a toss up. I love your banner! Great job with the sketch challenge.
Hope to see you again for the next challenge.

Kathy, this is adorable. I love it and the photo of Lilah is darling. You definitely need to scrapbook that photo. I love the card and the image is so cute. If I knew more about resizing I would buy more digi's and this one is one I would get for sure.

Hey Kathy! this is one cute valentine - and the little top Lilah has on matches your paper! If you have other special people you send valentines to - this would be so wonderful and put Lilah's picture inside -- so cute and sweet. I have a lot of Phindy's images too and need to start entering some of her challenges! This card is WONDERFUL!

So cute - but I don't see any metal on that little cutie, just crumbs. LOL

Your card is fantastic - the little heart brads are sweet. Thanks for joining us at Tuesday Morning Sketches.
