D2D Christmas Gift Ideas Blog Hop

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.   Now it is time to move on to Christmas, and that means gift giving season.  The D2D Design Team is having a little blog hop showing cute and inexpensive handmade holiday gifts.  You can get all the info, plus links to the blogs on the new Card Ideas blog.

For my project I recycled a ribbon roll.  I've saved several of them and thought they would come in handy one day and they did!  I covered the flat sides in white card stock, then I die cut four Fleur De Lis die cuts and layered two on each side to look like a snowflake.  I added a red seam binding hanger, and decorated it with the Dollar Delights mitten digi from Designed2Delight.  Image is colored with copics and stickles.  Very easy project and fun to make.

Here is the side view, so you can see how the ribbon roll was used.

Here is the cost breakdown per gift.  It will be even cheaper than that if you use the same digital image multiple times.  It would be a fun ornament to make with kids, too.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you found some inspiration from the Designed2Delight design team today.  Make sure to comment on the blogs you visit, since there will be prizes up for winning!
