From the Heart Stamps (mid month reminder)

Before I talk about my card, I want to announce the winner of my draw for the Just Because Faithful Friends digi set from From the Heart Stamps. Thanks to everyone for your nice comments! The winner is: Jennyfer L! Hope you will enjoy this image as much as I did Jennyfer! Keep yours eyes on the other designer's blogs, many of them will be giving away one of the new Faithful Friends images during April.

Now, today is the middle of the month. That means you have half a month left to play along with our Stamp of the Month Progressive Challenge. The image this month is Spring Medley. Such a sweet and springy image. I'm going to use this one for an Easter card. Hope you will join us and play along. If you didn't play along last month, you can still join the fun and purchase the image and jump right in.

Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you have a wonderful week.

Lots of Love for Lauryn Hop

Isn't this little girl just precious? Let me introduce you....
Lauryn was diagnosed with Leukemia on March 27, 2014. She is currently hospitalized in the DC area undergoing chemotherapy to fight this terrible disease.  Lauryn is Linda Payne's granddaughter...many of you in the stamping community probably already know sweet Linda! I was on the Phindy's Place DT with Linda, and what a wonderful crafty and kind lady she is!

As news of Lauryn's illness spread via social media, many of you have asked if there is anything you can do to help, so we have come up with a plan. We decided to have a Card Drive and would like to invite YOU to help by sending "happy mail" to Lauryn and her family.

Please create cards to share your love and encouragement for Lauryn and her family. Lauryn's parents are Josh and Elizabeth and she has two older siblings: Lily and Logan. We thank the Lord for this dear family and need to pray for them as they are seeking to glorify the Lord throughout this trial.

If you've arrived from Linda's blog you are in the right spot. The full hop list is below, so you won't get lost. Here is the card I created for Lauryn, using a From the Heart Stamps image called Faithful Friends Hope Floats. Faith has created a special image for the hop available and donated a prize, too. So make sure to check out the Lots of Love for Lauryn blog and leave a comment for a chance to win some great prizes, and also check out the gorgeous images available for a donation! And most importantly create and send a card to this precious little girl and keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.

Cards can be mailed to:

Children's National
Hematology/Oncology RM 437
Lauryn Newsome
111 Michigan Ave NW
Washington DC 20010

You can find updates on Lauryn via a Facebook page that has been set up by some family. It is Fight on Little Lauryn. They have shared how encouraging it is receive a simple "like" on a Facebook status or words of love and encouragement that is posted.

Here is the fabulous group of bloggers who have joined us in promoting this Card Drive. We would love for you to hop with us as numerous bloggers have blog candy and all you need to do is leave a comment...

From the Heart Stamps

Have you seen the new Faithful Friends line at From the Heart Stamps? They are so cute and all come with coordinating sentiments. There is a big selection already, Faith has been on a roll! And I hear even more will be released.

I've used this little cutie called Just Because. Isn't she perfect for any occasion? I was thinking she would make some cute thinking of you, birthday or even lunch box notes. The sentiment came with her, too. Makes for easy matching!

Do you like this image? Would you like to win her? Faith has generously allowed the designers to post projects with the new images and offer a free one to one commenter. So, leave a comment here and I will select someone to win this image. I will announce the winner on Tuesday 4-15. And be sure to check out the other FTHS designers' blogs. I know for sure one other designer currently has a card up with a chance to win the image.

My sketch comes from Stick it Down Tuesday. Love this simple easy sketch, will definitely become a "go to"!
