Designed2Delight monthly blog hop

Welcome to the Designed2Delight monthly blog hop for November. Faith has released many new  this month, really great ones. They all are so gorgeous, it was hard to chose which to use.

My first card uses Holly Jolly Christmas. I've colored it with copics and added crystal effects to the eyes and ornaments. Papers are from Cosmo Cricket Winter Mittens. Sketch comes from Emerald Fairies challenge 36

My second card uses Peace Joy Love paired with some Jillybean Soup papers and colored with copics.  My sketch is from Kimbee's Creations November 2012 sketch, I did take a bit of creative liberty with it and eliminated the flourish because I was short on room.

Thanks so much for blog hoppin' with D2D! We hope you will join our FREE Stamp of the Month Challenge. Remember, all New Release Digital Stamps will be on SALE until Nov 23. Details HERE.

Friends of ours are celebrating the Hindu holiday Diwali right now and I wanted to make them a card. I knew I would use my SSD India Honey image for it. I was looking for a sentiment and planning to computer generate one, when I though about Create with TLC. When I didn't see one in the store, I emailed Paulette to see if she had anything. She didn't, but offered to create a set! How cool and kind of her is that???!!! I was floored, the set is so much better than I could have dreamed of, check it out here. What a nice and special thing for her to do. I know I will come back to this set again and again.

Emma Canning Monthly challenge

So glad to be home again. I'm sure most of you have seen and heard about all the damage from Hurricane Sandy in NY and NJ. Thank goodness we were spared from major damage, so many people lost their homes and everything, it's so sad. We just had some down tree limbs and loss of power for 9 days. We took the kids to my inlaws house, since it was too cold to stay here. I haven't been around blogland or on my own blog for the past two weeks because of this. But I'm back! It feels good to get crafty again and back to normal. Nice to have power and heat too!

I missed posting this card for November 1st over at the Flat Friends Challenge Blog, the second monthly challenge is up! The challenges will run monthly and the prize is four Flat Friends digi images to one random winner. You can find all the details on the challenge blog.

If you haven't seen these fun images from Emma Canning yet, check them out at Polka Doodles, they are just so cute and hip and fun to color.

Our challenge is Dots and Stripes. Here is a cute little graphic from Emma to inspire you.

For my card I used the Christmas Camper image. I love this cute little VW van. So retro and fun.

Pop on over to the Flat Friends Challenge blog and check out the creations from my design teamies (I've had a peek and they are amazing). Hope you will take some time to play along, you've got the whole month!
