Phindy's Friday Challenge

TGIF! Time for another Phindy's Friday Challenge! The challenge this week at Phindy's Place is monochromatic green. Hope you will play along with us.

I went with Special Luck for my image this week, it's one of the newer images. I love this sweet little girl, she looks kind of like my little Lilah. Phindy has lots of images in the shop that would work out perfectly with this challenge.

Hope you will pop on over to the challenge blog and see what the DT has created this week. Play along with the challenge to win some prizes. It's not necessary to use a Phindy image, but if you do you get entered twice, so that is some pretty good incentive!

I've gone to one of my favorite weekly sketches, Sweet Sketch Wednesday 144-43.

Happy Birthday Mabelle blog hop

So glad you are joining me today in wishing Mabelle RO (the talented artist of the Whimsy and Stars digi and rubber stamps) a very Happy Birthday!

The design team is having a hop to honor her on her special day. If you've arrived from Holly's blog you are in the right spot. From here you can hop on over to see what Lis has created.

My card used the sweet Balloon Girl image. She looks so pretty in her little party dress and crown. So much fun to color and glitter her up. I've gone with pink and green, because I've seen Mabelle comment that she loves this color combination.

My sketch is from Jen delMuro, the SFYTT for March.

Mabelle, wishing you the best birthday ever. I feel so lucky to have met and worked with you over this past year. You are such a kind and talented artist and person, a real class act. It's a pleasure and an honor to design with your sweet images. I hope your day is as fabulous as you are! Big hugs my friend!

Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you will stop over to her blog or facebook group and wish Mabelle a very Happy Birthday.

Whimsy and Stars

Happy March! Where did February go? Time is just zipping along for me!

Had some time to play with this cute Whimsy and Stars Lily's Cupcake image today. Love the sweet little kitty. I gave her fur some texture with a washcloth dipped in blender solution, love to do this on fur.

I played along with Tracy's Eat Sleep Stamp sketch (Sketchy Thursday #162). Wow, it was only posted today, lol, must be a new record. Check out her sketches, they are awesome. I flipped this one sideways to fit my image.
