A Farewell to Phindy's Challenges

It is with great sadness that I write this post. Phindy has decided to close down the challenge blog to focus on family. I wish her all of the best and want to take a minute to thank her and the DT for the wonderful experience I've had for the past year and a half.

Phindy, it has been a pleasure and privilege to work with your beautiful images. You are a talented artist, as well as a supportive and kind person. I feel so lucky to have had this experience with your DT, it has been stellar. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I have posted 74 challenges cards during my time in the DT and have felt so lucky to have these fabulous images that Phindy draws to use each week. I will miss posting these challenge cards every week, but plan to continue using these wonderful images. I will also dearly miss the DT girls, they have been friendly, helpful and so professional, made it a breeze for us to all work together. Special thanks to Anne and Cec for keeping things running smoothly.

Since I hate goodbyes, I'll just say see you soon (out there in blog land)!

Phindy's Friday Challenge

TGIF! Time for another Phindy's Friday Challenge! The challenge this week at Phindy's Place is make a project That includes items that begin with your initials.  Pretty easy and versatile challenge, hope you will join us. As of this month, the Phindy's challenges are going to every other week, it will be great, gives everyone a bit of extra time to get their entries in!

I went with Kitty Cargo for my image this week (worked perfectly since my initials are K and C). Now, just in case that only counts for the K part, I've used copics and card candi for the letter C. This is a really fun challenge, can't wait to see what people come up with!  Phindy has lots of great images in the shop that would work out perfectly with this challenge.

TGIF! Time for another Phindy's Friday Challenge! The challenge this week at Phindy's Place is make a project based on a favorite song or movie. Pretty easy and versatile challenge, hope you will join us.

For my song choice I went with Elvis! My dad has always been a fan, and I think it has rubbed off on me. Elvis' Can't Help Falling in Love, is what I based my card on. Perfect for an anniversary card I think. Here are the lyrics if you aren't familiar with them:

I went with Together for my image this week. I'm always so fond of images that show the backs of people, just love them and this one is no exception. Such a sweet and tender image.  Phindy has lots of great images in the shop that would work out perfectly with this challenge.

I went with Summer Bare for my image this week. This is such a sweet image, makes me smile. Love the sun hat and dotted bikini, I imagine this is how Lilah will look at the beach this summer. Phindy has lots of great images in the shop that would work out perfectly with this challenge.

I've used the wonderful sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday 158-45 for my layout. I immediately was taken with all of the circles, love this layout, will definitely use it again.
