Phindy's Friday Challenge

TGIF! That means it's time for another challenge at the Phindy's Place challenge blog. The challenge this week is get well or thinking of you.

I used this sweet image called Nana and Earl. Think I'm going to mail it to my Nana, whom I visited last weekend. I gave her a birthday card with the Phindy's Place image Nana Pies for her birthday and she loved it.

I hope you will pop on over to the challenge blog and check out all the lovely DT creations. Play along with us for the chance to win. You don't need to use a Phindy's image, but if you do you will be entered twice in the drawing!

Thanks for dropping by today. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Card Recipe:
Stamps: Phindy's Place Nana and Earl, sentiment from PTI
Ink: Printer, Palette Noir
Paper: PTI ssw, Harvest Gold, Aqua Mist, Kand Co patterns
Embellishments: copics, nesties, PTI ribbon and buttons, sewing machine

This image brings a tear to my eye. Phindy did this for my Mom. We adopted Earl from the shelter last March. A week later, he got out-disappeared. I thought my mother would literally die of a broken heart- she stopped eating. Earl miraculously came home three days later. Joyous reunion. My mother would tell people he was the best cat she ever had. He cuddled only with her. When she died in Jan., Earl mourned. It was so sad. My son is here now-this cat is now working on healing him. Long story-sorry. In any case, this card is beautifully done-does real justice to this image!
