Whimsy and Stars
Happy Tuesday! I've got a cute little card with a summery image from Whimsy and Stars Studio, this little guy is called Watermelon Boy. This is only part of the cute image, I cropped him into a square for this sketch. My kiddos love watermelon in the summer and I do, too. Nothing beats it for a sweet treat (and a healthy one at that!).
My sketch comes from Sweet Sketch Wednesday #164. Another fabulous sketch from Arlana this week.
And I also made this for the Dare to Get Dirty challenges going on over at SCS. They are for fan club members and all the deets can be found here.

PTI Stamp-a-Faire 2012
Back with a second quick post this evening. PTI is having their Stamp-a-Faire this weekend. This year it's an online stamping party. I have so much PTI that doesn't see enough love that I decided to see if I could get some of the challenges done. This one was from this morning. Nichole had a Make&Take warm up project using the Stamp-a-Faire set (don't have mine yet, but it's on the way, lol)! So I substituted a set I had and gave it a go.
I feel like it's missing the embellies that I usually throw at every card, but I do like it. I was thinking this would be a perfect card to mass produce for the Chemo Angels program. I get requests sometimes several times a day for people needing a bit of cheer and I could make up a batch of these to keep on hand and not be scrambling around to make something spur of the moment. And, best of all, this would definitely only take one stamp (don't remember the last time I sent something out with one stamp).
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Off to check out more of the Stamp-a-Faire challenges!
Card Recipe:
Stamps: PTI Garden of Life, PTI Year of flowers Mums sentiment
Ink: PTI Hibiscus Burst, New Leaf, Orange Zest, Raspberry Fizz, Palette Noir
Paper: PTI ssw, Raspberry Fizz, Orange Zest, vellum
Extras: corner rounder, MS Embossing board, acrylic blocks

Whimsy and Stars Release
I'm back from a week's vacation in Cape Cod. We arrived there the same day as the shark siting, lol! Luckily he was only spotted once during our trip. We stayed shallow in the ocean anyway, but it was quite the scare!
I have some fun cards to share from Mabelle RO at Whimsy and Stars. These two images Little Princess and Cherry Wishes are being released today. Both are adorable! I'm constantly in need of kids' birthday cards. I couldn't pick which one to use, so I went with both, and it worked out great since I need a card for my niece and nephew for Thursday.
My first card uses Little Princess. She is colored with copics and stickles and paired up with some Echo Park papers. The sketch comes from A Gem of a Challenge #50 .
This one used Cherry Wishes. I love this image, and think it would be perfect in pinks for a girly card, too. He's colored with copics and plenty of stickles, also. I've paired him up with some Jillybean Soup papers. This sketch comes from Crazy 4 Challenges - #C4C145.
Make sure and pop on over to the Whimsy and Stars blog and see what the DT has created with these cute new images.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
