Happy Halloween! We enjoyed our day. My dad was visiting, so he gave out candy and we both took the kiddos out trick or treating, much easier with two of us. They had a great time. We didn't go too far, but they really enjoyed it, and were so excited for all the candy!
I made this one for one of the HYCCT challenges on SCS. It was to make a card for a girlfriend with a coordinating sentiment. I think this sentiment is so cute, it cracks me up! The image, Girls Night Out and senti are both from Rubber Romance.
Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you had a happy and safe Halloween.

All Natural Sassy Woman
Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring The One Stop Craft Challenge Blog this week. The theme is anything goes, so go ahead and give it a try for a chance to win 4 SSD images.
I made this card for the Paper Sundaes challenge #41 this week, A Natural Woman. Being outside in the snow is my favorite. I'm not a naturey type girl, but do love winter and snow. So this is my natural woman!
The colors are from the HYCCT15 challenge, and the sketch is SC303.
Thanks for dropping by!

Scarecrow Teddy
Been trying to get to the Midnight Madness (MMSC77) sketch all week! Finally got it done. I used this adorable little Scarecrow Teddy from Designed2Delight. I love fall colors so I had fun coloring him yesterday.
I hope you are having a great weekend. Fall is in the air here, it is so crisp and cool. Will be great for Trick or Treating tomorrow night. My hubby has his new toy out today and is smoking massive quantities of meat. He got a smoker about a month ago, so our weekends have been full of smoking meat! He's got ribs, wings, sausage and a whole chicken going right now. Not real sure what we'll do with all this meat. I can only eat so much meat, LOL. We'll have to give some away or freeze it. Smells great already.
Thanks for dropping by, hope you have a great weekend.

I used the sketch from SCS this week (SC304) for her, and I'm also sending her in to the HYCCT challenges. This is the gilmmer mist challenge. I actually used my Smooch Spritz to spray the image, so it really sparkles in real life.
Thanks for dropping by today. Hope you are having a great week.

Orange Roses
Here is my take on Mercy's Tuesday sketch from this week (MTSC97). I love the roses from Designed2Delight's Beautiful Life set. They are jus so pretty and so much fun to color.
My mom loved roses and had many bushes. She had a real knack with them. The sentiment seemed appropriate since I've been thinking about her a lot the last few days. On my kids' birthdays I really miss her and wish they had gotten the opportunity to meet her. I tell them about her, but it isn't the same. Yesterday was Lilah's first birthday and I was thinking how my mom would have loved to be a part of her life. Didn't know I was going to get all personal and sentimental with this post, but sometimes that's how things work out. I do have two big pots of meatballs (my mom's recipe) simmering away on the stove today, although I never can seem to get them to taste exactly like hers, hubby says I'm pretty close.
And here is a little picture of Lilah having her first ever cupcake! Oh my gosh, she LOVED it. There wasn't a crumb left. I think she couldn't believe how sweet it was, she hasn't had any sugar at all before this. I make her baby foods with whole foods. She was thrilled, and super wound up from sugar afterwards.
Thanks for stopping by today. Hope your week is going well!

Magnolia-licous October Christmas All Year Long Blog Hop
Welcome to the Magnolia-licious Christmas All Year Long blog hop. Once a month on the 25th, some of the members of the Magnolia-licious Yahoo group have a blog hop with Christmas cards. Great way to work on those cards year round. If you arrived from Jessica's blog, you are in the right place. If you get lost along the way, you can see the full list on the Magnolia-licous Christmas All Year Long Blog.
This adorable Tilda with Violin image came to me from my friend Linda. She was so much fun to color, I think I'll be adding this one to my next order. Diana has a great selection of Maggies at the Magnolia-licous web shop.
I'm entering her into two challenges. Sparkle's Christmas Card Challenge #47, which is to use flowers this week. Also, entering into the ABC Christmas Card Challenge. They are on the letter V. The vertical sketch is for letter V and I used an image with a "v"iolin, and lots of the color "v"iolet. Such a fun challenge, I had a blast trying to come up with some V items.
Thanks for stopping by today, now hop on over to the talented Leonie's blog and see what fabulous project she has crafted.

Causeabella
Another one just in time. I saw the Tuesday Morning sketch #64 on Tuesday and loved it. I immediately added it to my to do list. However with my hubby traveling this week I just didn't get to it til today. So glad I did though, it was a fun sketch. Got it done with only an hour to spare.
I haven't inked up Causeabella in forever, so it was good to use her again. This is another one I'll be sending in for the HYCCT14, Ribbon, Ribbon, Ribbon challenges on SCS, this one for the ribbon challenge. I think I've got it doubly covered with her pink ribbon and the added green ribbon.
Thanks for stopping, by! I hope you had a wonderful weekend.

Buddies
Happy weekend everyone. My hubby is traveling so it isn't too exciting here. We are laying low and relaxing and waiting for Daddy to get home tomorrow!
I got Mercy's Tuesday sketch (MTSC96) done just in time. I loved the cute sketch this week and was really wanting to ink up this set I've had for a bit now. I decided to go with a boyish card. It will go to the HYCCT23 challenge on SCS, Sew Thankful for Friendship, which is to include some sewing on your card.
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

Dare to Be Sassy Thursday challenge
It's Thursday again, so that means it's Dare to Be Sassy Thursday. The theme this week is Halloween. Play along for a chance to win 2 SSD images.
I used the Midnight Madness sketch (MMSC76) for the layout. I turned it horizontally and went with the simpler version.
The image is sprayed with smooch spritz, so it is super sparkly in real life, it doesn't show as well in the photo, but is really glitzy in person.
Thanks for dropping by, I hope you are having a great week.

Hope by the Sea
Hello, can't believe it is Wednesday already. I have another card I made with the new release set from Designed2Delight called Hope and Dream. I think this is such a lovely image. I tried to replicate the beachy layers with my background.
It is for the Unsentimental challenge for HYCCT on SCS. This image was perfect to stand alone.
Thanks for dropping by today. I'm off to fold some laundry, that seems to be the never ending job lately, LOL! Have a great hump day!

Beautiful Blessing
The weekend went way too fast as always! We had a great time pumpkin picking and going on a hayride. The kids loved it all, such a fun family afternoon.
Here is the image Beautiful Blessing from Delightful Inspiration for this week's progressive challenge. Faith designed two sets this week to show support for Breast Cancer Awareness month. They are Beautiful Life and Hope and Dream. Both are available in the Designed2Delight store.
I mad this card for one of the HYCCT challenges on SCS. You had to make a square card with four additional squares on it, and some pink. Fun combo! Also this is going for the Double Delight Challenge (DD16, Think Pink) this week, which is to use this image and some pink.
Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you had a wonderful Monday.

Anyone for Tea?
Happy Sunday! We are headed to the pumpkin patch for pumpkin picking and a hayride today. Should be fun. Hope it isn't too windy for the babies, though.
I saw Debbie's tutorial for this adorable box and have been wanting to try it ever since. She has a printable tutorial attached, so it made it super easy to follow. It was simple to put together and held 10 tea bags perfectly. Could hold some sweets too, but I just used what I had in the house.
The image is Oak Wreath from Designed2Delight. I made it to enter into the Tuesday Morning Sketches #63 for this week, treat packaging.
Hope you are having a great weekend. Phillies and Yankees both disappointed yesterday. Let's hope the Phillies bring it today!

Stephanie
I finally had time to participate in Sparkle's Christmas challenge this week (#45). I haven't played along in a while, but always enjoy it when I do. This week's challenge was a sketch (my favorite sort of challenge).
I inked up Stephanie from Rubber Romance for this one. Her fur trim is all glittered up for some sparkle.
I embellished it with some felt flowers for the HYCCT16 challenge on SCS, it was to incorporate some felt. So I dug out my long neglected Felt Flurries from SU.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Sassy Ghost
Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring the challenge at Two Sisters Challenge blog. The theme this week is Halloween. The winner of the challenge will get four Sassy Studio images.
For my card I used the Sassy Ghost image. She is a scary one isn't she? I think my kids were actually afraid when they saw this, LOL! I reassured them, she wasn't real.
Thanks for dropping by. I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

Another "Delightful" Friday post
One more card for today. Last night Designed2Delight released two new sets Hope and Dream and Beautiful Life, this poppy and sentiment are from Beautiful Life. Also check out this weeks image for the progressive challenge at Delightful Inspiration, Beautiful Blessing, it is in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. If you didn't play along last week, you can buy the image and jump right in this week.
I love poppies and this one was so pretty and easy to color. I couldn't wait to make something with it. I stayed up til midnight to get this done, but am glad I did! Although that wasn't my story when Finn was up at 4 am, LOL. Man, I was wishing I went to bed at 8 then!
I use the Card Patterns sketch #85 for this layout. I love the circles running across the middle. Fun sketch, I think I'll definitely reuse this one.
Another one going to the HYCCT challenge on SCS, this one was for flowers. Hoping to get them all done, I think I've only done about 7 so far, so it might be wishful thinking, but I'll give it a go!
Have a fantastic weekend!

Apple Pie
Happy Friday! Looking forward to the weekend here!
I have a little yummy apple pie for you today. Don't worry, it's not fattening at all! This pie used the Apple a Day set from Designed2Delight. I paired it with a Verve sentiment.
I used the Midnight Madness sketch challenge for this card (MMSC75). It was a very cool sketch that came together easily.
Perfect layout to get out the sewing machine, too. Designed2Delight is sponsoring Digital Tuesday challenge blog this week, challenge #80, and the theme is Sew-Special (use a digi image and some sewing).
I'm also entering this into Sentimental Sundays challenge #24, Tag It.
Lastly it is going to the HYCCT card donation challenge on SCS, this particular challenge calls for something old and something new. My image is new, sentiment is old.
Thanks for stopping by today hope you will have a fab weekend!

Animal Print Support
Here is another one I did for the HYCCT challenges on SCS. They are running all month long and the cards go to patients with breast cancer and their families, through a hospital in TX. Really great cause, check it out if you can.
This one is lingerie inspired. I thought it would be fun and funky to incorporate some animal print paper into this one. I was inspired by some of the fancy pictures in the Victoria's Secret catalog.
I used Cardabilities sketch # 12 for the layout. They have such fun and challenging sketches over there.
Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you are having a great day!

Apple of My Eye
I think the sentiment Apple of My Eye from the Apple a Day set at Designed2Delight is too cute. I paired it with the tree from the Willow Whimsy set (this is the smaller tree). I covered each flower on the tree with a dew drop "apple". I didn't have red dew drops (go figure I only have them in about 50 colors, LOL). So I took a copic and colored some clear ones, it worked beautifully.
No sketch involved here, just a CAS little card. I'm also using this for the HYCCT challenges on SCS. This one is for the Walk on By challenge, to use something you see when you go for a walk as inspiration. A neighbor has a crab apple tree and they are falling off right now, so I thought of that for my inspiration.
I've heard that you can make jelly out of crab apples, I wonder how that would be? Think I'm in an apple-y mood lately, might call for a little bit of baking later in the week.
Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you are having a wonderful week!

A caramel apple a day...
A few more hours to go on the progressive challenge at Delightful Inspiration. I had an idea to caramel coat my apples earlier in the week, but didn't get to it til today. I love all things fall and caramel apples are a great fall treat. This image is Two Apples and the sentiment is from the Apple a day set both are available in the Designed2Delight digi store.
I used the Midnight Madness sketch challenge for this one (MMSC74). You should really play along with them. Last week I won the random drawing, and have an awesome prize headed my way. How cool is that?! So head over and play along, they always have great prizes up for winning.
This is another of the cards I'm making for the SCS HYCCT challenge. This one was to use twine in some way other than to thread a button. This PTI bakers twine was perfect to tie my apples together.
Thanks for stopping by today. So glad tomorrow is Friday, and my hubby will be home. Long week with him traveling.

Support a Cure
Happy Thursday! That means it is Dare to Be Sassy Thursday on the Sassy Studio blog. The theme this Thursday is Think Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month. I love this image Support a Cure. She is just so pretty and proud holding her pink ribbon. Play along with us for the chance to win some new SSD images.
I used Mercy's sketch challenge this week (MTSC94), as usual Mercy had a very cool sketch to work with. I also made this with the challenges on SCS this month (HYCCT) in mind. This one is for using brown with pink. I love that color combo anyway, so this was an easy one!
Thanks for dropping by today!

Snow Angel
This is my take on the MoJo Monday sketch (MOJO159) for this week. I love this Snow Angel image from Designed2Delight, and it fit perfectly in the sketch for this week.
I also made it for the challenge going on all month on SCS, it is called Hope you Can Cling to. This was the first challenge posted for a pink holiday card. The challenge is going on during all of October, since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I love making cards, but I think my favorite part is giving them away, especially for a good cause. So check out the details and participate if you can.
Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you are having a great week.

Can't believe it is Monday already. We are having a lot of rain and damp weather here. Starting to feel like fall.
I saw this fun and simple sketch on SCS last week. It is their 300th sketch challenge (SC300). So I decided to give it a try with my new Rubber Romance Gossiping Girlfriends stamp. It fit perfectly with the sketch.
Rubber Romance design team call is open until Wednesday. You can find all the details here. Hope you'll give it a try!

Designed2Delight WCMD Blog Hop!
Welcome to the Designed2Delight World Card Making Day Blog Hop! So glad you are joining us today. If you arrived from the talented Lola's blog, you are in the right place. If you just happened upon my blog, you will want to start at the beginning with Faith's blog. Grab a pen and paper, because each blog along the hop will either have a letter for you to collect or a free digi for you to grab. Collect all the letters, they will spell something out, and that will be your code for a free Dollar Delight digi stamp from Designed2Delight.
My first project today uses one of my favorite D2D digi stamps Fallin' In Love. He is perfect for Christmas or winter themed cards. His snowflakes are made of little hearts, so he could even be used for Valentine's day, too. I'm trying to get a head start on my holiday cards, so December won't be so hectic this year.
Now here is my next quick and easy card. Yep, another Christmas card. This one uses Mitten one of the Dollar Delights (you could pick this up with your coupon code later on!). One of the things I love about digital stamps, is that you can reverse them. So as you can see here, I printed the mitten once as it was, then flipped it and printed it a second time. How cool is that? Now I have a pair of mittens.
Click here for a printable .pdf project sheet.
Thanks so much for hopping with us today. I'm the last stop along the way, and my letter for you is "E". Now you can head to the Designed2Delight shop and select a Dollar Delight digitaal image with your coupon code. To get your free image, add it to the cart, then click on cart (not checkout), and add your voucher code. If it takes you to paypal, you've gone too far.
I would like to invite you to join us over at CDAC today. We are holding a party in the D2D group with some fun games and challenges. Hope to see you there (did I mention more prizes are involved?)! Gotta love prizes.

Faith has created a printable instruction sheet to easily duplicate this project. Feel free to print it out and use it.

Sassy Studio October Release
I can't believe October is here already! That means it's time to get going on Halloween cards. I've been making a few over the last couple of weeks.
Today is release day at Sassy Studio Designs and the images are Halloween themed this month. Lindsay has really drawn some fun images once again.
The first card uses Bride of Frankenstein and I used the Midnight Madness sketch for this week (MMSC73). I went with the clean and simple version.
This second card uses the Frankenstein Zombie image. I had a blast coloring her green skin and hair. This sketch is from Amanda.
Make sure you stop by the Sassy Studio blog today for a fun challenge and then join us in the party room for a chat tonight.
Thanks so much for stopping by today, hope you have a great weekend.
