Whimsy and Stars Blog Hop

Welcome to the Whimsy and Stars February Blog Hop! If you arrived from the very talented Christine's blog you are in the right spot. If not, start over on the Whimsy and Stars blog to get all of the info. Two random commenters will win an image of choice, you have until Feb. 8th at 7pm EST to leave comments!

Mabelle has released two new images this month, You're a Star and Birthday Ladybug. I've used You're a Star. I went sweet and girly on this one, using some MME papers and piecing that big star. She's just darling! I think she could be done a bit less dressy for a sports type star card, too. Very versatile!

My sketch comes from Sweet Sketch Sunday challenge 177:

Thanks for dropping by today, now hop on over and see the gorgeous creation Lesa has made for today.

Whimsy and Stars Little Ladybug

I'm playing along with the Virtual Stamp Night Challenge over at SCS this weekend. The theme is Birds, Bees and Creepy Crawlies. I'm even hosting a challenge this time around. My theme is Feeling a little Punny. Now, I know this little lady bug isn't a creepy crawlie bug, she still counts as a bug.

She is a Whimsy and Stars image called Little Ladybug. I think she is just darling and so much fun to color! I've glittered up her little dots and flower center for some sparkle. I've kept the card pretty CAS, since there is a 45 minute time limit per challenge (sometimes it takes me that long just to pick out my papers, lol). Mabelle has lots of cute bird and bug images in her store that would be perfect to play along with us over at SCS.

My sketch comes from: Seems a Little Sketchy #31
