Whimsy and Stars Autumn Card
Happy Monday! Our power is still on, so I figured I better get my card blogged for Jen delMuro's SFYTT for October. They are saying if the power goes, it may be a while before they can restore it.
I've used this sweet little Acorns Pumpkin Teddy from Mabelle RO at Whimsy and Stars Studio. I've textured the fur with a washcloth and colorless blender. Love the look it gives, like a well loved and slightly worn bear. Just adore this cute little teddy!
Thanks for dropping by today. Hope everyone on the east coast is staying safe.

Dare to be Sassy Thursday
It's Thursday again, that means time for a Dare to be Sassy Thursday challenge at Sassy Studio Designs. In honor of October being breast cancer awareness month, our challenge this week is Pink Christmas (or winter holiday). Use some pink on your holiday creation this week. You don't need to use a SSD image to enter, but you get two chances if you do. Hope you will check out the DT creations and play along!
My sketch comes from Sketch N Stash #99. I always enjoy their sketches. My card candi and MFT border die are new, and for stash I've used an older image, hoarded papers from Echo Park last Christmas. Funny thing is I almost couldn't bring myself to use the pink houndstooth, because it had a really pretty flip side (what in the world am I saving this stuff for?!).
Card Recipe:

Ink: printer
Paper: PTI Raspberry Fizz, SU Pink Pirouette, copic xpress, Echo Park prints

Designed2Delight Monthly Blog hop
Welcome to the Designed2Delight monthly blog hop for October. Faith has released several new winter images and two adorable football kids this month, really great new images. They all are so gorgeous, it was hard to chose which to use.
My first card using Missing Cookie. This one is so funny. Love the little faces peeking over the table, priceless. Would make a fantastic Christmas card, but I went more general today to show how versatile it is. The image is colored in copics and matted with nesties. Patterned paper is from Colorbok, and I've embossed the light blue with a baking embossing folder. Papertrey ink ribbon and Kaiser pearls finish it off. I stitched the edges for a homey feel.
My sketch comes from Freshly Made Sketches #57. I made mine a square instead of a rectangle, just stretched it out a bit.
My second card uses Little Quarterback Boy, he is so cute showing off his muscles. He's colored with copics and mounted on PTI cardstock, football paper from AC Moore, Twinery twine, and a Jesse James button finish it off.
The sketch for him comes from Tuesday Morning Sketches #168. I flipped it to a vertical layout.
Thanks so much for joining the hop. I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Thanks so much for blog hoppin' with D2D! We hope you will join our FREE Stamp of the Month Challenge. Remember, all New Release Digital Stamps will be on SALE until Oct 23. Details HERE.

Whimsy and Stars Treats
I've finally opened up the MS test tubes I bought last fall. They are so cute and fun to use. I've filled them with some candy corn flavored M & Ms, yummy!
I found several tutorials on line to make holders , this one comes from Lisa Somerville's blog. She has several different tutorials for holding one, two or three tubes. Very easy to follow.
Here is the front view, it is free standing. I was wondering if it would really stay upright, and it does.
I've used the adorable little witch image called Halloween Girl from Whimsy and Stars to decorate the front. Mabelle has lots of sweet fall and Halloween images in the store right now. I think this will go to one of the teachers at preschool. Here is a close up of this super sweet, not very scary witch.
