Sentimental Sundays

Here is my weekly post for Sentimental Sundays. Our challenge this week is Anything goes. Plus, as always, don't forget that sentiment.

My Favorite Things is the sponsor this week! Super exciting, I love MFT stamps and own many of them, the Pure Innocence ones are my favorites. They generously sent us some stamps to use for our project. My set was called Clearly Sentimental about Art. Worked perfectly with the PI You Color My World set I had. I used the MFT weekly sketch on SCS for my layout.

Thanks so much for dropping by today. Make sure and pop over to the Sentimental Sundays blog and check out all the fun creations from the DT.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #133

Happy Tuesday, it's time for another sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches. This one was created by Jessica. Such a great sketch! This is also our judged challenge of the month, and there is always a twist with that challenge. It's a recipe this week: 4 layers, 2 ribbons, 1 embellishment.

Our sponsor this week is DRS Designs. Hope you will play along for a chance to win a prize from them.

I've used some crafty supplies that came from my friend Angela. She sent me this MFT stamp set and all the goodies I used here. She really know how to put things together, such style!

Stop by the Tuesday Morning Sketches Blog and check out the DT creations for some inspiration.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you are having a wonderful week.

Sentimental Sundays #87

Sunday means it's time for another challenge over at  Sentimental Sundays. This week our challenge is dry embossing, pretty easy right? The other requirement is to use a SENTIMENT on the front of your card. Don't forget that important part, to qualify you for the prize!

And Heather Ellis is the sponsor this week. Play along for a chance to win some digi images from this great sponsor. I've actually used one of the acrylic stamp designs she has illustrated for My Favorite Things.

Thanks so much for dropping by today. Make sure and pop over to the Sentimental Sundays blog and check out all the fun creations from the DT.

MFT Sketch For You to Try

This month MFT is the sponsor of Jen del Muro's sketch for July (SFYTT). My new Pure Innocence stamps just arrived so I inked this one right up.

I LOVE cotton candy, it's my favorite ballpark treat, so I had to have this stamp. I covered the cotton candy in stickles for that sugary look.

I'm also entering it in the Flutterby Wednesday challenge #164, stripes, since she has some cute little stripped leggings.

Rain, Rain Go Away!!

Well, it is rainy here again. I think this will mean a really green spring when everything starts to bloom. I broke out my new Pure Innocence set from MFT, perfect for a rainy day. I think this little girl is the cutest.

I used this SFYTT from March 13th as my sketch. I also made this for the following challenges this week: Paper Sundaes 10th challenge, paper piecing, and JUGS challenge #25, (colors of light brown, light blue, light green, light yellow). I love these soft springy colors, but don't use them too often. I usually go for brights, but this was a fun change.

Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you are having a wonderful week.
