Flutterby Wednesday

Happy Wednesday! Welcome to a new Flutterby Wednesday's challenge. This week we have a something new challenge (with a butterfly or fairy of course). Just use something new on your card and you can play along. I hope you will take some time and play along with us. Just include a fairy or butterfly on your creation to play along. Stop over to the blog and check out the gorgeous samples the DT has created.

For my new item, I used a new digi from Designed2Delight. It is the monthly freebie, Tweet Birthday Gift, that is part of the progressive challenge. If you didn't play along last month  you can buy it in the store and join in this month.

Flat Friends Monthly Challenge

Happy New Year! Can't believe it's January first already! That means it's time for a new challenge over at the Flat Friends Challenge Blog, our fourth monthly challenge is up! The challenges will run monthly and the prize is four Flat Friends digi images to one random winner. You can find all the details on the challenge blog.

If you haven't seen these fun images from Emma Canning yet, check them out at Polka Doodles, they are just so cute and hip and fun to color. Lots of new ones were recently added, too! And there are two freebies linked to the challenge blog (so if you don't have any images yet, you can still play along)!

Our challenge is all Put a Bling on it. My image is called Cheerleader, she is newly released and so cute and perky. I've blinged up her pom poms, outfit and glazed her boots. Here is a cute little graphic from Emma to inspire you.

My sketch comes from Sweet Sketch Wednesday #186. As usual a fantastic sketch from there!

Whimsy and Stars New Years greeting

Where did 2012 go? Oh my gosh, it flew by for me. Looking forward to 2013. Wishing all my friends and cyber pals a happy and healthy new year.

I think this cutie, Miss Dancing Queen, from Whimsy and Stars is perfect for a celebration! I've paired her with some scraps of MME eye papers and used a sketch from The Sweet Stop sketch #191. I love this sketch, really great for using up some scraps (maybe that should be a New Year's resolution to use up some of mine, lol).
