Sami Stamps Daddy's Super Girl

Happy Tuesday! I've had this super cute image and sentiment combo in mind for a while. The image is a digi from Sami Stamps, called Daddy's Super Girl, they are just the sweetest whimsical images. And you know how I'm a fan of any image from the back, so this was a must have for me! I've pieced her bow and cape and popped them up for some dimension.

Sami Stamps is having a Design Team Call right now, too. I guested for them last year and would love to join the team, so I'm going to give it a try. Wish me luck!

My sketch comes from Sketch N Stash #149, it is a throwback to an earlier challenge #44. Another great sketch from them. My new item is the patterned paper and my stash is the ribbon, buttons and twine.

Whimsy and Stars

I don't know about you, but I am in constant need of late birthday cards. Not a good sign for someone who makes cards right? Usually I just don't get them mailed off in time. When I saw the freebie sentiment from TLC a while back, I knew it would pair up perfectly with Mabelle's Whimsy and Stars birthday turtle image. Finally had a chance to put the two together.

My sketch comes from Seize the Birthday challenge #2, it's a really versatile one, will definitely come back to this one again.

Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you are having a good week!

Happy New Year! Can't believe it's January first already! That means it's time for a new challenge over at the Flat Friends Challenge Blog, our fourth monthly challenge is up! The challenges will run monthly and the prize is four Flat Friends digi images to one random winner. You can find all the details on the challenge blog.

If you haven't seen these fun images from Emma Canning yet, check them out at Polka Doodles, they are just so cute and hip and fun to color. Lots of new ones were recently added, too! And there are two freebies linked to the challenge blog (so if you don't have any images yet, you can still play along)!

Our challenge is all Put a Bling on it. My image is called Cheerleader, she is newly released and so cute and perky. I've blinged up her pom poms, outfit and glazed her boots. Here is a cute little graphic from Emma to inspire you.

Dare to be Sassy Thursday

It's Thursday again, that means time for a Dare to be Sassy Thursday challenge at Sassy Studio Designs. Our challenge this week is to make a card or project without any patterned paper. You don't need to use a SSD image to enter, but you get two chances if you do. Hope you will check out the DT creations and play along!

Friends of ours are celebrating the Hindu holiday Diwali right now and I wanted to make them a card. I knew I would use my SSD India Honey image for it. I was looking for a sentiment and planning to computer generate one, when I though about Create with TLC. When I didn't see one in the store, I emailed Paulette to see if she had anything. She didn't, but offered to create a set! How cool and kind of her is that???!!! I was floored, the set is so much better than I could have dreamed of, check it out here. What a nice and special thing for her to do. I know I will come back to this set again and again.

My sketch comes from Cupcake Craft Challenge #218.

Guest Bar Tender

My card was selected in the top 3 for the last challenge over at Raise the Bar! Joni invites the top three to be a Guest Bar Tender for the next challenge. I was very excited to play along. The challenge for this week is the colors of Mardi Gras (purple, green and gold).

I decided to go all out Mardi Gras for this card with the theme as well as the color palette. I used this fun Masquerade 2 digi from Sassy Studio Designs and a freebie patterned paper from Paulette at Create with TLC

My sketch comes from Sweet Sketch Wednesday #142, another great sketch!

Thanks so much to Joni and the Raise the Bar DT for having me as a guest this week!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend.

Gift Wrap Mouse

I've got a second card using this fabulous freebie from Paulette at Create with TLC. This time I've paired it up with one of the new digis from D2D, Gift Wrap Mouse. Love this image and sentiment combo.

My sketch is from Sketch Saturday #182. And I'm entering it into the Outlawz greeting card challenge this week which is birthday or Christmas gifts.

The designers challenge at D2D runs until Saturday and the theme this week is anything goes as long as you use a D2D image, pretty easy. Hope you will play along with us.
