Sassy Studio Release day blog hop

It's the second half of our Sassy Studio It's a Small World release blog hop. If you've arrived here from Starla's blog you are in the right spot. If you just happened upon my blog, head over to the SSD blog for all of the details, there are lots of chances to win prizes this month!

Six international Honey's are being released. I have the pleasure of showing you China today. She's just gorgeous (all of them are!). She was fun to color and pair with this perfect Basic Grey paper (knew I bought it for a good reason).

We are also having a birthday them for this blog hop in honor of our leader and artist behind Sassy Studio Designs, Lindsay! Happy Birthday, wishing you all of the best on your special day and the whole year through! Thanks for the opportunity to work with your amazing images!

Now before you head over to the next stop, the very talented Rachelle, you need to collect 2 letters from me. They are D and E. Thanks for hopping with us today!

I'm playing along with the challenge at Sketches by Carly challenge 62, the challenge is to pick any of her sketches and use it this time. Hard choice, she has great sketches, I picked #35! Carly is a fabulously talented young lady, who makes great sketches!

Whimsy and Stars

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a great weekend.

I've got a cute little back to school card here, using Whimsy and Stars Back to School. I know I've said this before, but this is one of my favorites, I think he looks like my DS#2 Liam.

We still have a month of vacation left, but I was really wanting to use this fun Recollections school paper I had. And once school starts I know I'll be able to use this card.  Especially since all four will be in school for at least some of the week this year, whoop whoop!!!

I used last week's Tuesday Morning Sketches sketch. The challenge is already closed, but I wanted to play around with it anyway, it was a fun one.

Have a great week!

Corrosive Challenge

Happy Sunday! Time for another Corrosive Challenge! This time our challenge is "They Say it's Your Birthday", in honor of our fearless leader Regan (who is having a birthday this week). Pop on over and wish her an early Happy Birthday (she's even got some blog candy available). Now, I know Regan's favorite color is purple, so I had to do something in purple this week.

Our super fun sponsor is Saturated Canary!!!! I love Krista's images, and she kindly let the DT select an image to use, I'll be using the image I picked for the next challenge. This image is called Peggy Sue, and I bought it some time ago. Such a sweet and fun image to color, I added plenty of sparkle to the trim of her dress and her hair bow. I also glazed her shoes, so they look like patent leather.

My sketch comes from Stamp with Fun challenge 172:

Make sure you pop over to the Corrosive Challenge blog and see all the DT creations and play along for the chance to win a Saturated Canary prize!
