Follow the Yellow Brick Road blog hop


Welcome to Sassy Studio's blog hop. Our theme is the Great and Powerful Oz. Now, I have not seen the movie yet. Have you seen it? I've heard good things so far. If you arrived here from Rebecca's blog you are in the right place. Wasn't her creation awesome, I want to color like her!

For my card I've used the The Wicked Witch Sassy. She's my fave from the original movie. I even have a signed photo of Margaret Hamilton, the original Wicked Witch of the West. My grandmother met her years ago in Philadelphia when she was staring in a stage show. My grandmother used to be a "dresser" for the actors/actresses in theatre and ice shows in Philadelphia way back when. Pretty cool job!

  9. Kathy, Beautiful. I love green and purple together. That's pretty neat that you have the autograph from the original Wicked Witch. I met Tony Moran (grown up Michael Myers)and have a signed copy of the original Halloween.

  16. Oh wow! Your grandma lived the dream! I luuuuv Margaret Hamilton --- she was BORN to play The wicked witch of the west- (Idina Menzel is a close second :) Again, luved how you colored her- I wouldn't know which shade of green to use! Awesome as usual, Kathy! Hugs~
