First BookEndz card

Back again with a quick post. I've joined the online reading group, BookEndz, over at Color Me Creative Classroom started up by Suzanne Dean. Our first discussion is tonight, the book was Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See. It was an interesting read for sure. The challenge to go with was to make a card reflecting the book. I went with an Asian themed card.

My layout is from the sketch #117 from Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

Looking forward to tonight for the discussion and to see what the next read will be!

    Oh my goodness this is a gorgeous card Kathy! What a dear image and so perfectly colored. It is also perfectly matched with those beautiful papers. This is a really good sketch for this - shows off your papers really well. The ribbon, bow and flower embellishments just finish it off. I really, really love this card.
