Tasty Flakes

Happy Saturday!  I've got some exciting news to share.  I applied for the Phindy's Friday challenge blog DT and was chosen. I'm super excited, if you've been here before you know how much I love these images, especially the sweet little kids. It is a real honor to be part of the team. Check out the sketch challenge going on there this week, it is a cool sketch.

I don't officially start until February, but wanted to make a Phindy's Place card this afternoon to celebrate. We are still having lots of snow here, and the other afternoon walking home from the bus stop, my oldest was trying to catch snowflakes on his tongue, so cute. It made me think of one of my favorite images Tasty Flakes.

The sketch if from Jen del Muro's SFYTT for January. Fun sketch to work with.  It's not easy to see in the photo, but her boots are crystal lacquered up for shine, just like real snow boots.

    This is sooooooo cute! I love this image and you did such a good job of coloring it. Great job! I love it and anybody would love receiving this card. Congrats on yout DT position. They are lucky to have you.

    Adorable, as usual. I love the colors on this and I have that same dcwv paper and never thought to pair it with those colors, thanks for the inspiration
