Blooming Pansy

Friday night on SCS was the Verve release party. I made this card for one of the challenges. I love this sentiment and the flower is just so pretty, too.

Pansies are one of my favorite flowers. If you are a Martha Stewart wannabe, like me, you probably have even cooked with them. I've used Martha's recipe to bake them into sugar cookies, and dry and sugar them with egg whites to use for cake decorations. I did all this in my PK days (pre kiddos).

Anyway, enough about my culinary adventures, thanks for stopping by today. Hope you had a wonderful weekend.

Card Recipe:
Stamps: Verve Plain Jane, and One Person
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, PTI Plum Pudding
Paper: PTI ssw, Plum Pudding, Lavender Moon, Ripe Avocado, and PTI patterned paper
Embellishments: copics, nesties, sponges, stickles, MS border punch, SU corner rounder, Bellas Baubles, PTI ribbon
