How about a cup of tea?

I received a card in the mail not too long ago that included a tea bag inside. I loved it and was so tickled with the tiny treat inside, that I went immediately to SCS to search for a tutorial. I found this one on SCS to make a tea bag holder note card. Here is the link to Beate John's tutorial. It was quite simple, there are two versions to try. This is the second, I may give the first one a try later on. Cool thing is you can either include a tea bag or a flat chocolate square inside.

Here is the outside of my tea bag holder. I used Julia Loves to Read from Rubber Romance stamps, check out Julia and some of the new divas in the Etsy shop. I thought she looked perfect with her book and cup of tea or coffee. This little card will be for my son's preschool teacher. I always need to send a note about this or that to her and she likes home made cards. So I thought one with a little treat would be fun to send next time.

Here is the view of the inside. I chose my papers and cardstock to coordinate with the wrapper of my tea. This one is Vanilla Chai, and it's very yummy.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a cup of tea and stay warm!

Card Recipe: Julia from Rubber Romance, Memento Tuxedo Black ink, PTI Vintage Cream, Tangering Tango cardstock, SU retired dsp, SU border punch, copics, nesties, sakura glitter pen, MS ribbon, Bellas Baubles
