Hi everybody, I just realized that today is not Friday, bummer! I really thought it was Friday and was ready for the weekend. That's what happens when you are at home and not working. Oh well, one more weekday to go.
Here is another card I made for one of the Verve release week challenges (VSJAN10A). This challenge was to use chipboard. I have a ton of it, but rarely use it. I dug out some photo corners and glittered them up with MS glitter. I used Mercy's Tuesday sketch for this one (MTSC56).
I love these colors, the paper came from a new DCWV Valentine stack, the small print is all tiny x's and o's, really sweet. I think this will go to one of my boys for Valentine's day. They'll probably be more interested in the candy that will go along with it, LOL!
I've got to get working on a tooth fairy tin, for my oldest, he has a really loose tooth. I should have made it a while ago, when I got the stamps for it, but just didn't get to it.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Card Recipe:

The quote may be from Pooh, bu the overall card is very elegant -- gorgeous colors, fun sketch, and beautiful shading on the sentiment!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! I really love that, even though there are hearts all over it, the card isn't super girly.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! What a great sentiment! Love Pooh! Wonderful color combination!!! WOW!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jessica G., the shading on the sentiment is fantastic. I love Winnie too.. When you think of him, it's usually with yellows and browns...but the way you've combined this serious sentiment with the blues and browns is just wonderful.
ReplyDeletethis is totally GORGEOUS! I love the colors and the layout and the sentiment :) What a wonderful color combo, I just can't stop starring at your beautiful card :)
ReplyDeleteoh no don't tell me about a new dcwv paper stack...I can't resist those and I'm out of room for paper. That paper is gorgeous and so is your card. I don't have any verve stamps as of yet but I have a feeling it won't be much longer :)
