Phindy's Friday Challenge

TGIF! Time for another Phindy's Friday Challenge! The challenge this week is "Round and Round". Use some circles on that card!

I went with Valentine Delight for my image this week, he is one of the recent images added to the shop. Phindy has lots of images in the shop that would work out perfectly with this challenge.

Hope you will pop on over to the challenge blog and see what the DT has created this week. Play along with the challenge to win some prizes. It's not necessary to use a Phindy image, but if you do you get entered twice, so that is some pretty good incentive!

I've used Jen del Muro's Sketch for You to Try for February (SFYTT). Another great sketch this month.

Card Recipe:
Ink: Printer, Palette Noir
Paper: PTI ssw, SU Purely Pomegranate, Pretty in Pink, unknown green, K and Co prints
Extres: copics, crystal effects, cuttlebug embossing folder, corner rounder, buttons from stash, Twinery twine, round nesties

A Sassy Sneak Peek

Another sneak from the upcoming SSD "Fan"-tastic release. This is the cowgirl image.

Now, I'm pretty much a city slicker, lol. So, I wouldn't have had a thing to use to make a country themed card in my stash. But then I remembered some goodies my dear blog friend Linda Palmer had sent me. I was hoarding the paper and boot charm to make a card for my country music loving aunt. It went perfectly with this image, I was so excited to find it! Thanks Linda!

I've used another of the CPS 5th anniversary sketches, this one is #5. Not really keeping up too well, but I'm trying!

Whimsy and Stars Valentine

I'm winding down on the Valentine's now. Although, I could make them all year long, I love red, pink and hearts!

This cutie is Valentine Girly from Mabelle RO at Whimsy and Stars. Such a cute image! There are lots of new images being added. Mabelle is releasing some digi versions of TAC sets, so hop on over and check them out! I've colored and stickled her up and popped her up on some dimensionals.

I've used another on the the CPS 5th Anniversary sketches for this. This one is #6. I'm having fun playing along with them. There are a few tough ones I've been putting off, but need to tackle this weekend!

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Hope you are having a wonderful week.

Happy times here after the Giants won the Superbowl!

I've got a Sassy Studio sneak peek for you today. Saturday is release day. Lindsay has taken suggestions from fans and made images from them. On Saturday the reveal will happen and those who had their suggestions used will get a free image, plus have a SSD image named after them! Fun, right?

I've used the new nurse image. She's quite a hot tamale. I will probably give this to dh for Valentine's day. He's going to wonder why I never looked this glamourous in my scrubs, lol!

My sketch is from Raise the Bar challenge 90.

Corrosive Challenge #142

It's time for another Corrosive challenge! The theme this week is "Love Bites" and the wonderful sponsor is Tiddly Inks.

You can interpret this theme many different ways. Lots of the DT went literal, and there are some great vampire cards this week. I went a little different direction. My image from Tiddly Inks, which they so kindly let us pick is called "Always the Flowergirl". I thought that was perfect for the theme! Kind of a play on the old saying, Always a bridesmaid, never a bride.

Hope you will pop over to the The Corrosive Challenge blog and check out all the wonderful samples, and then play along with us if you would like.

The sketch here is from the CPS 5th anniversary celebration. This one is number 4. They've been posting fabulous sketches every day!
